Our Bruker 9.4T Biospec animal magnet system is designed to accomodate a large variety of different magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy experiments both in vivo and ex vivo. The software used to control the spectrometer and perform acquisitions is Paravision 4.0. Three different actively shielded gradient sets are available with maximum gradient strengths ranging from a 100mT/m to 400mT/m. Several custom designed animal holders and radio frequency coils are available (both commercial and non commercial) to perform imaging and spectroscopy on live animals. Monitoring of biological parameters is achieved using a BioPac monitoring device and several different types of transducers.
